         <description><![CDATA[<div>Natural selection is a process by which populations change over time. In picture 2 we can see that the birds favor the green beetle over the brown beetle. Because of this natural selection the brown beetle has a higher survival rate than the green beetles.  The brown beetles go on to pass their genes for brown color to their offspring. This changes the allele frequency, because the brown beetles are becoming more common than the previous generation.</div>]]></description>
