We used arrays and strategies to solve multiplication word problems. Also if you know your multiplication facts you can also know your division and if you want to multiply 15x6 there is a way sao first break the number into two numbers like 10 and 5 so then you multiply 10 x 6 which equals 60 and and then you do 5x6 which equals 30 so then you add up 60+30 and that equals 90 so 90 is your answer. there are so many ways we can use multiplication.

Multiplication is one of the easiest strategies for repeating the same amount of numbers. It is a very efficient strategy, and you can use it to quickly add. numbers. For example, Mr. Rosa has 8 art boxes. There are 6 paintbrushes in each box. How many boxes altogether? You can just use 8 x 6 to solve, instead of doing 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 48.
