Leadership Law I learned that is important for me

This law really impacted me since I learned that the people we surround ourselves with have a great influence on our decisions, our actions, and even our thoughts. It made me evaluate my inner circle and rethink if some people were helping me be a better person, grow, and achieve my goals. As the law states, a leader's potential is determined by those closest to him. If we want to achieve our best potential and grow more every day, we need to look for people who are worth it and that will add to our life.

Leadership Law I learned that is important for me

This law impacted me because I have sacrificed a lot in my life. I didn't know that sacrifice is an essential thing in life. To have something we need to sacrifice another thing, always. Something that stayed with me from this law is that we are all here because someone made a sacrifice for us. God made the biggest sacrifice, sending His only son to die for us because he loves us. Also, when we achieve success we need to keep working hard and making sacrifices to keep that success.

Important qualities I believe a Christian leader should have:

Honesty: Honesty is a reflection of our character and is how leaders can influence their followers to do honest and good things in a way that pleases God. An honest leader can gain the trust of his followers and make them grow without fear of telling them the truth even if it hurts.

Good communication skills: With the ability to communicate properly a leader knows how to reach his followers more effectively. When knowing how to communicate, a leader can reach young, adults, and elder followers in a way that each receptor will be able to properly understand what is being communicated.

Rational Thinking: A rational way of thinking allows the leader to be fair, just like God. The leader needs to evaluate situations and make decisions that are the best option for his team. Being fair when making decisions leads to good decisions, which leads the team to success. Giving thought to every step needed to take also lets leaders have a broad amount of knowledge of the situation.

What learnings do you take after compiling all the knowledge you have built in your leadership portfolio?

After having the great opportunity to create my portfolio and keep updating it with new things I learned creatively, I take that I am a chosen daughter of God. I have always considered myself His daughter, but we talked about how God chose us all to do even greater things than we can imagine during one of our classes. Also, this portfolio has helped me gain knowledge about Christian leadership, as well as how effective it can be to others.

Based on what you have learned about Christian Leadership, how would you sum up God’s calling in your life?

The things I have learned about Christian Leadership have made me realize that God wants us all to be leaders. Therefore, even though I may have to strengthen some qualities, I am called to be a leader and God gives me the potential if I ask Him to. God’s calling in my life is to transform others and be light in this world full of darkness.

Based on what you have learned from Transactional and Transformational Leadership, which traits do you consider a strength in your life and which would you need to strengthen? Explain why.

Based on what I have learned about Transactional and Transformational Leadership, I consider several traits of mine a strength. This includes: inspiring others to be the best version of themselves, helping them grow as well as letting them help me, responding to individual needs when people around me need me and being there for them even when they don’t ask me to. A trait I consider I have to strengthen is to be more open to people because it is hard for me to approach and feel comfortable with those that are not normally around me or that whom I am not close. Also, being braver because leadership requires risk-taking and innovation.

I will continue to use my Leadership Portfolio as my safe space. My portfolio is a place where I can pour all of my thoughts, ideas, things I need to better, motivational phrases, and new things I learn every day. Therefore, as a Christian Leader who faces and will continue to face even greater challenges, my portfolio will help me grow personally and spiritually.

María José is a super intelligent girl with multiple talents. She is an extremely responsible young lady making her one of the best at her classroom. She is always giving that extra mile that differs her from the rest.

We are so proud of you. Nonetheless, as everyone she has virtues and defects, of course, her virtues are much more than her defects. María José is a bit shy which often leads her to not say things and taking risks or decisions or simply to speak up.

Always remember that you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.

Now that your are almost a school graduate I can only wish the best for you, mow is the time for you to open your wings and fly, the sky is the limit.
