4) An example of how treating someone with equality might not be fair and limit their success is standardized testing, standardized testing cannot always tell how smart a person is, only certain subjects and people can have greater strengths that aren’t included on a test or people can have learning disabilities that prevent them from doing their best on tests.

Everyone received a box even if one person is taller than the others. The box could be opportunities.

Equity - people of a lower social status are given more boxes (resources) so they can be at the same level of those with a higher status. Status refers to social markers, again like income—a tall person could be someone who is wealth, red shirt is middle, and smaller person coined be poor or lower class. The boxes could represent better job offers, for example, so the shorter person could rise up to the taller person. Everyone can get what is specific to their individual needs, ability, learning differences, wealth (stimulus checks), etc.

Liberation - gives everyone the chance to see the game. The fence represented stops or blocks people from going into an enclosed area (a field) and represents many different circumstances. This field can also represent freedom, attaining goals, like success. This game can represent the game of life.

Inclusion - if the game represents life, then the people should be in the game. When you are playing in the game, you are being included! What would signify being included in the game would be uniforms, similar colors, being physically in the game not watching from the sidelines.

How does inclusion connect to real life?
Money example from Matilda and Sora: if all of these different pictures represented earning or being given different amounts of money, we can see that with the first picture, everyone is given or earns the same amount of money. In the second photo, they are all given or earn the amount of money that they need. In the third photo, there is either: no need for money, no need for extra money to achieve financial needs/responsibilities, but this is not as real to real life. In the fourth photo, they could all be the ones deciding how much money everyone needs as a team.

Recap:
When everyone is included, that means we are treated equally as human beings, but equity comes into play to serve our various needs and unique experiences. When we are liberated, we are freed from oppression.
