Lets be honest we learn about the unfairness of gender roles and which gender has more power over the other in school, and how wrong it is... but we still have this issue in today's society. with the inconstant gender change between our american citizens the government thought they had to say something to "fix" this "problem". It all started when a group of 13 year old boys wrote “The Government Must Go”. Since then the conflict has gotten more out of control. During 2011 President Bashar al-Assad had been ruling over the Syrian people with an iron fist. When word got around of people wanting a new governs Assad decided he would send military tanks to crack down demonstrators. Soon after the Syrian Civil War was started. Because of this the Syrian National Council (SNC) was formed to fight the Syrian government. Their goal was to end President Assad's rule and establish a modern democratic state. But this was not achieved, instead it brought along more conflict. While the fighting continued the death tolls also continued to rise. It rapidly began to rise from the previous year. From 400 deaths in June 2011 to more than 3,000 in June 2012. At this point the US military intervenes. Also forcing president Assad and his military to remove all chemical weapons. In 1995 Quebec wanted to leave Canada and become its own country because they speak a different language than every other province in Canada. Since their independence there has been two civil wars and a war in Darfur. Furthermore, the North was predominantly Muslim, Arabic speaking. While in the South it was the rebels who spoke Christianity or people who follow other traditions. After many years of fighting there was finally a peace agreement in 2005 that reached SPLM/A. The 2005 agreement laid out timetable for a vote for whether Sudan should be split in half or not. They decided they should hold a vote. The vote was held in January 2011 and won with 99 percent of the people in South Sudan infavor of independence. So on July 9 South Sudan was created. But that was not the end of the conflict because the other 60 ethnic groups weren’t happy that they just left them in the dust without resolving there conflicts. Also there were two different ethnic groups in the government who were rivals which in the end caused yet another conflict in 2013 that ended up killing thousands of people. But  finally there was a peace agreement
