Over the whole English, but especially here at the end, it feels as if we're being more and more aware of our own learning. Both when and how it's happening.

As always Maiken has proven a good facilitator, and the last 8 weeks of catching up on all our material has been very gratifying. While a little stressful because of the pace, the gains are not to be ignored. A+

So there is a lot of theory we read and discuss in class. We do use it with the exercises we make in class, but i would like to do more practical exercises for example, as the ones we did for today. Sometimes the theory seems more like a means to an end ''the exam'' than a ''how to be a succesful english teacher''

I do not know if this is relevant for the english module per say, but if KP sees this, then i would like them to know that working in groups constantly (the obligatory studieproject group work) does not contribute to autonomy. I am aware that is saves you a lot of money, but it is really not that appropriate to work in groups for every project as this greatly reduces ones belief in ones own individual capabilities and almost makes one afraid of autonomy.

Maiken is a very skilled educator and she is great at teaching the course. However I feel the course is overall too theoretical, that is too much emphasis on learning abstract theories and too little practical aplication. I would like more concrete examples of how exactly too make a lesson plan and execute it according to the theories KP wants us to operate after. I like the warm ups and speaking excercises those serve as good examples of something I could include in my own teaching.
