</span></span>1997 about 3% of American school children were
diagnosed with ADHD.</p>

<p>&nbsp; II.&nbsp;
</span></span>2013 11% of American schoolchildren had been
diagnosed with ADHD.</p>

<p>&nbsp; III.&nbsp;
</span></span>Boys are more than twice as likely to be
diagnosed as girls</p>

<p>&nbsp; IV.&nbsp;
</span></span>By high school, even more boys are diagnosed
almost 20 percent</p>

<p>&nbsp; V.&nbsp;
</span></span>2/3 of those diagnosed are medicated. Most common medications: Ritalin, Adderall,
Vyvanse, Concerta</p>

<p>&nbsp; VI.&nbsp;
</span></span>Other treatment options:&nbsp; behavior therapy, neurofeedback, herbal
