Now fresh water is piled into a montain valley. This step repeats over years and you start to get old snow under newer snow. After a few more snow falls, the oldest snow is turning crystalized; but not yet ice. After more snow falls, the oldest snow has turned into glacial ice; ice formed under immense pressure from 30m. of snow. That is a glacier!<br><br></div>]]></description>
