The medication should be taken as follows :

• The evening before surgery at 10pm take OMEPRAZOLE 20mg with water

• The morning of surgery at 6am take OMEPRAZOLE 20mg and METOCLOPRAMIDE 10mg with water

While visiting our postnatal ward, we encourage you to consider others, be understanding and offer support whenever you can. There may be times when we need to ask visitors to leave if the ward becomes overcrowded.

We may request that birth partners and support people limit the number of times they leave and re-enter the area to protect vulnerable patients.
