How young and innocent Freddie and Truss looked made it less likely for neither the Dutch Police and German Naizs to suspect them. Which attracted and might have been one of the main reason they were ask to join the Dutch Resisters.  While Freddie and Truus were mostly recongize for seducing to later on killing the German Nazis they also contribute in the aspect of  bombing trains, smuggling out Jewish children, and running refugee safehouses. Ressiting and fighting against the Naizs by their seducing and assassinating skills, Freddie and Truus become known as heroes for the Jews.

Their need and action for speaking up for the Jews came from their mother. As their mother took Jewish refugees into their home in the 1939 war. Influence by their mother's bravery of helping out the  Jews was one of the many reasons why they join the Dutch Resisters. “...learned that if you have to help somebody, like refugees, you have to make sacrifices for yourself,” says Jeroen Pliester was the example their mother had given to them. Encouraging them to just speck out they took charge and action leading them to help people at the risk of their own lives.
