We can do this by being honest and not coveting others goods.

This law is about not coveting others goods. Covet others goods means the you are thinking about stealing stuff from others. We should not do this because when we think about it we might start doing it. If we start stealing we would hurt others feelings. We can implement this commandment in our life by being grateful for all of our stuff. We should always be happy, humble and not be jealous of others.

The 1st commandment: I am the Lord your God, you shall have no other gods before me.

This is about knowing where God is in our lives. It encourages others to put God first in their lives. It helps us know that God will always help us all and guide us through our lives as Christian-Catholics and women of faith, excellence, and service. We can do this by praying daily for the gifts He has given us. We can also to do this by thanking Him and being grateful for His guidance in our lives.

2nd Commandment: You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain

This law show and use God’s name in worship and praise instead of using it in vain. We can do this by avoiding using omg or “oh my god” and ong or “on god” as God should not be held accountable and his name should not be used for empty promises. Instead we should show and spread the good works of God by attending or joining bible readings in the church. We can also do this by giving our time each day to spread the gospel and encourage others to do the same.

3rd Commandment - Keep Holy on Sabbath Day

This commandment reminds us to continue to go to church every Sabbath day (Sunday) and to do good towards others and to yourselves.

We should always remember to put God first among others. He only asks for one day of good and provides six more for our needs. We need to bring others and remind others to go to church with their families and to do good during this day. This day is counted as the holiest and we need to honor God and to thank him for all he provides. We need to be grateful for every little thing. God was there, therefore we need to always remember Him because He always remembered us. Never forget God for He is almighty and merciful.

This commandment is about sinning in our thoughts and actions. Even though you didn't do it, your intent is already enough. Although you may not have even touched that person your words can kill. It tells us not to hurt our neighbors because when you hurt others you also hurt God. By following this commandment we can spread kindness and show love to not only our neighbors but also God.

The 7th commandment: Thou shall not steal

This law is about not pocketing anything that is not yours. It forbids people from stealing or grabbing stuff that is not their property. It tells us how stealing things can also result in karma. If the original owner finds out if you stole something then they will definitely put you in trouble. Stealing can also make you guilty for the sin you have done. We can avoid stealing by being content with what we own and to not let jealousy control your emotions. If you get too jealous of what somebody owns, you can end up taking whats not yours.

This commandment tells us about respecting the sacrament of matrimony. By committing adultery or cheating, we break the trust of the relationship. Cheating on your partner breaks the promise of being loyal to them. The sacrament of matrimony is very sacred and we shouldn't take it for granted by cheating. Do not hurt your significant other because if you do you will also hurt the Lord.

These 10 commandments are to help guide us into following God in our lives. The first 3 commandments are for the Lord to honor Him,His name and His day of prayer and rest. The rest of the commandments (last 7) are for our neighbors as God wants us to always treat our neighbors as we want to be treated. These Commandments works wonders in various ways and are not always to be taken directly. Each of these works are dedicated to a certain commandment and its true meaning. They also have certain things you can do to avoid breaking these. It also shows how to take accountability for our actions and ways to fulfill the commandment. These commandments are rephrased into more simpler terms/ relatable terms to be able to easily grasp the meaning. Each commandment is very significant in our roles as ICAns and members of the church. Fulfilling these commandments show our ICAn responsibilities and also shows our true devotion to the Lord our God.

The 8th commandment: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.

This commandment is about not blaming others for something they have not done. You cannot frame anybody without having clear evidence as it is like putting all the burdens onto somebody's shoulder. Not only will they suffer consequences that aren't theirs, which is the equivalent as hurting somebody already. If you throw all the responsibilities to them for no reason, it is still counted as indirectly hurting them. We can avoid blaming others by first finding solid evidence if they did it or not. If you are the one who did the wrong doing you should bear pity on the innocent person and take the blame as you originally should. We should always practice both empathy and sympathy to not blame others.
