This is a painting of a Japanese father giving his daughter soup and she is very grateful for it. A pull factor would be the promise of a better life. This would mean they can have more food and a wider choice also higher life quality in general. A push factor would be poor living standers in their country. Most families wouldn't have money for any type of special food.
