Scarlett Dragna has never left the tiny island where she and her sister, Tella, live with their powerful, and cruel, father. Scarlett has been told that everything that happens during Caraval is only an elaborate performance. Nevertheless, she becomes enmeshed in a game of love, heartbreak, and magic. It is also a well-known, and highly-recommended series if you spend time doing some research online ^^ On one of the website I usually visit, Goodreads, the average rating of the whole series is 4.17. Well, 4.17 may be not AS HIGH AS SOME OTHER BESTSELLER BOOKS, but definitely not a low one. I love the cover of the first book, it looks very... mysterious? He is exactly the kind of guys who girls think are really hot, attractive, passionate. He has good survival skills, and also, a lot of experience about lots of stuff. I think he is a perfect match for a girl that is so conservative and cautious like Scarlett. I really enjoy the way he teases Scarlett with his jokes, and her reaction is cute too. She has her own principles, and she follows it strictly. It kinda impressed me though.
The ending was definitely a twist with me. I did not expect it to end that way, but still, it was good. I love every single character Stephanie Garber created. They are just so real to me. I would recommend this book to people who are into fantasy. She is also brave, and thoughtful, although she usually appears conservatively. 
- Donatella: She is Scarlett's younger sister. She is totally opposite with Scarlett: wild, reckless, and smart. She loves her sister as much as her sister does.
- Father: Scarlett and Donatella's father is mean and selfish. He only cares about his power and estate.
