Have someone who checks and restocks this. Nominate/ask people to take on subject specific resource roles. Teachers can then put forward requests for resources as and when they are needed - or perhaps a topic audit? Or give each teacher £100 for stuff they'll need? It seems silly but how a room looks can make a big difference.
