Tetsu is a japanese baseball player that went to a relocalition camp in arizona because of the bombing in pearl harbor. His dad was a farmer in california. Testsu’s dadgot tooken to prison/jail and they couldn’t bring a lot of things.

Fall 1942

Testsu meets some boys, kayo, george, and ben. They are all in love with baseball and start becoming friends. Kayo is in love with the yankees which were in the world series against the cardinals.

Winter 1942

The boys want to build a baseball field. They are trying to find more kids toplay on the team.

Spring 1943

After Tetsu had a long baseball practice he went home to see his mom crying on the front porch. He didn’t know what happened and asked. His mom said, “Kimi, she is gone.” Tetsu tried looking for her everywhere. He spent hours and hours trying to find her but couldn’t. He layed for lots of hours and looked at the night sky.

Summer 1943

After a baseball practice Tetsu was going back home when he saw his mom crying on the front porch. He quickly ran over and asked what happend when she said that Kimi was gone/lost. He ran away to look for her but couldnt find her. After hours and hours of searching he couldn’t find her and layed down next to the river.

After Tetsu was goign to talk to his friends about her they walked up a hill because Horse Said he saw a little girl going up this mountain and they found her behind a tree.

Fall 1943

Tetsu palyed his first baseball game since they moved and explained tohis sister how to take care of the fish.

Winter 1943

Tetsu and some friends worked and got some time of the day while working to get out of gila river.

Spring 1944

They created a fence af castor beans so it would be a home run fence. They made a homerun fence.

Summer 1944

They boys played their first series of games. His Dad built a barrack for his family. Tetsu got ina fight with Horse. He was not communicating with him and sharing his feelings.

Fall/Winter 1944

The baseball team went a trip and played against another team. They traveled to Colorado and played 7 games. They won 4 out of the 7 games.

Kimi’s fish died and Tetsu was kind to his sister and replaced it wth a new one. i
