It is located in the center of Peru, between the mountains and the jungle. It is a city with a very pleasant climate, known as "the city with the best climate in the world." I usually visit in July or August because during those months the weather is drier, sunnier, and perfect for sightseeing. I also take the opportunity to visit my relatives who live in Huánuco. I normally go with my family, as we enjoy discovering new places together. What I like to do there is walk through its historic center, visit the Kotosh archaeological site, and enjoy the nature.
