We both liked 
coast steering because we saw starfish, lucky for us we got a good sunny day. I used grit to overcome a fear. I've never liked the ocean but I pushed through the adrenaline and overcame my fear by jumping in.  

The giant swing was also fun,
the adrenaline  was rushing through our veins when we yanked on the rope. We encouraged each other in counting down from 5 to pulling the rope on 0. 

The food was so good especially the butter chicken we had on the second to last day. It was the chicken tasted as good as KFC chicken.

The colour tag game was fun because the camp was humongous and we could hide in bushes,trees and under the bridge.

At night time it was pretty hard to sleep when the rest of the cabin were talking and wrestling.

Camp was really challenging but 
was fun. It would be hard no to like Wainui camp.
1. The activity's were fun.
2.The food was amazing.
3.The games were fun.
 

I also really enjoyed the campfire when all the instructors made up a song and we had to copy them. My favourite do as I do song was the little red wagon one sung by FURGBURGER.

High ropes were really scary because there was nothing to hold onto on the course we did and the person that was beelaying for me kept leaving the rope VERY slack. I got to the 5th ladder which was the highest out of everyone in my group:)

Sleeping was a little bit scary because there were moths in the walls and they kept making a really creepy sound. We left the torch on because it was pitch black and lots of people in our cabin couldn’t sleep when it was too dark I rate camp a 8/10

I didn't go in the big swig because I just didn't feel like it(just like a monday if you had a bad weekend)

but I did take lots of videos. I could tell that everyone was having lots of fun.Also the person that ran the swing was calling me lewie. That was funny but also kinda not at the same time. The hike up to the swing was alright, the view was amazing.I could see the sea and boats. walking up hill was not fun but when I ran downhill that was fun.I showed responsibility by doing my best to encourage and pull the rope.

swimming was fun but the sea salt didn't feel nice and some of it got in my mouth(it was gross).Some parts of the water were quite warm (and no the was so human pee in the water)and some parts were cold.We also did a crab hunt there were 2 chances to win one for the smallest crab and one for the biggest. People found all sorts of things like starfish and fish or crab eggs??(think it was fish egg). I showed grit by doing as the instructor said and trying my best no matter how tired I was. 

The cabin was so funny because I woke up in the night to people saying “who opened the door” or “shut the door!” because the cabin door was not to good at staying shut and a possum was in the cabin and we could hear it scattering around in the cabin, and someone just shut the door and the next morning there was no possum inside and poor Emerald was sleeping on the ground because the window wasn't shutting and she was allergic to mosquito bites. But camp was so fun! 

 The funniest part of camp was at the campfire even though we weren’t allowed to light a fire because of the fire ban in the area we just played lots of games and watched the helpers make a fool of themselves.

Even though I didn’t do UHF radios  I still learned something that people we supposed to learn there, I learned the phonetic alphabet from Caitlin’s dad, Iain

 My second favorite activity was search and rescue because we got to use Walkie talkies and play a really fun game of hide and seek, use bandages and make a stretcher out of a tarp which was really fun to make. We had Taylor as our instructor again. I also really enjoyed Coast steering, we saw a seal.

 I showed respect by saying thank you after each activity and used my manners when I went up to get my breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I showed Grit when I did Coast steering. It was really hard and my activity group and I were all really cold and wanted to go back to camp and go to sleep but we kept on going and didn’t give up and we helped each other out and made sure we all were okay and we all had fun.
