         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bill Clinton was raised by his mother and grandparents. His father died before he was born. He attributes his high regards of education to his grandparents that helped raise him while his mother was at school in Louisiana. His mother remarried upon returning to Arkansas. Clinton became a devoted Baptist despite his parents/grandparents lack of religion. He was also a great Saxophone player in high school. Later his mother and step father divorced due to his drinking problem and abusive nature. Clinton attended Boys State and was elected an Arkansas representative and was invited to meet President J.F.K. Clinton studied at Georgetown University, then at Oxford, and finally graduated from Yale Law School in 1973. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bill Clinton married Hillary Rodham in 1975. They had one daughter, Chelsea in 1980. Bill taught law then pushed himself into politics. Clinton was eventually elected state attorney general in 1976. Later in 1978 he became the governor of Arkansas. Being the youngest governor in the country. After his first term he was not re-elected but eventually made his way back into office for four more terms. He gained a great deal of political experience during his time as Governor. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Bill Clinton represented the Democratic Party with Al Gore as his vice presidential running mate. Clinton was able to defeat George H.W. Bush and become president in 1992. Something many may not know would be that he easily won that election despite charges about having avoided the Vietnam draft as well as his rumored affairs with women. Clinton centered his campaign around the economy as well as civil rights and education. His campaign slogan was "For people, For a Change." The political climate was consistent of Americans ready for a big change. He served as president from January 20, 1993 until January 20, 2001. </div>]]></description>
