Planning for the multiple means is very important because when the multiple means are accounted for, the needs of all diverse learners are met. The multiple means aim to ensure that learning is purposeful, reflective, resourceful, authentic, strategic, and action-oriented (CAST, 2024).

Planning how to incorporate the multiple means into each lesson will not only help you be a successful educator, but it will set each of your students up for success. They will be in a learning environment where they can thrive. Planning and being prepared for the multiple means will help students successfully meet their learning goals because they will have everything they need to be successful in the classroom.
