         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cricket, Field Hockey, soccer Rugby and Swimming, are some of the most popular sports in Zimbabwe. <br><br>Zimbabwe has won eight Olympic medals. One team medal for field hockey in 1998, and the other seven medals were won by a swimmer, Kirsty Coventry, she won three at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and four at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. Kirsty Coventry won two gold medals, four silver, and one bronze.<br>Zimbabwe also did well in the Commonwealth Games.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Culture of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe has many different cultures, which may include beliefs and ceremonies. Zimbabwe's largest ethnic group is <strong>Shona</strong>. The Cultural Practices include, totems which have been used by the Shona people since their culture began. Totems identify many different tribes among the Shona people. Today, up to 25 different totems can be identified among the Shona, and similar totems exist among other South African groups. The <strong>Shona</strong> people have also created many totems of gods, which are made with the finest materials available.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The identification by totem has very important at traditional burial ceremonies. A person with a different totem is not able to commence the burial of the deceased. although, if the totem is the same even when coming from a different tribe, is able commence the burial of the deceased.&nbsp;</div><div>If the totems are not the same and he/she decides to commence a sacred ceremony. the Shona will have to&nbsp;pay a fine to the family of the deceased. Fines traditionally were paid with cattle or goats but today, substantial amounts of money can be asked for.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Most Children that live in Zimbabwe are malnourished. The life expectancy of newborn Zimbabwean children is the second lowest in the world. The infant mortality rate, has not been counted but is extremely high.</div><div>Measles, kills thousands of children a year. Poor hygiene and lack of&nbsp; nutritional needs contribute to the repeated and rapid death of children. many families refuse to vaccinate their children, because of superstitious beliefs.</div>]]></description>
