Jainism's beliefs are different from another's culture and beliefs. They do not believe in a god(s). When Jains are faced with evil they use it for a reason of wholly good. When Jains pray they do not focus on the god as some religions do, they recall great qualities and remind individual various teachings. They also do not believe that god or gods created this earth. They do not believe that they need a god to sustain this earth. Jains believe there's good in karma.

The history of Jainism has many meanings. Teachers called Tirthankaras accomplish high spiritual goals and teach others how to accomplish it. Tirthankaras are not an incarnation of god, it is themselves an ordinary soul. They go through many practices through penance and meditation. Each new teacher preaches the same, but gives a way of life in different forms.
