She played and loved basketball. She started playing in 3rd grade and played a few years in Junior College. She also ran track from 7th-12th grade and played volleyball 7-9th. She decided to work in the fall instead of volleyball. In her senior year, she did football cheerleading. She started by knowing that she wanted to go to college. She never had any dreams of leaving Minnesota and didn't have a location set. She started going to college in Superior but then realized college is a lot of money. She ended up joining the military to help pay for school and has been in it for 13 years. She wanted to be a nurse since she was younger, and she is now pursuing that career. She has a Fiance, his 11-year-old boy, and their 6-year-old son. Both the kids combined are in basketball, baseball, soccer, wrestling, football and track. They live in Cloquet, both working full time. Ms. Lagarde works in Duluth and her Fiance works mostly from home. She has an older brother and younger sister with the same parents, as well as an older half brother and sister.
