There must be more parking space on this road. Due to this issue, people park their cars on the right side of the road, which makes an unsafe environment for drivers. One car was parked close to the crosswalk. It can raise a few alarming issues, such as obstructing vision and raising the possibility of collisions involving people and other cars.

Granite Park Junior High School

According to us.newk12 "Granite Park Junior High is a public school located in Salt Lake City, UT, which is in a large suburb setting. The student population of Granite Park Junior High is 938, and the school serves 6-8". From my perspective, the problem with this area is that there were three entrances to the school. However, there is only one crosswalk in this sight. It is common for children to run on the road. And I think to protect children from traffic accidents; they need to make one more crosswalk or put up more signs that read, " School area under 20 mph."

Polluted areas (close to school)

In this picture, you can see trash, including beer cans. I am confident that there were plant-triggered allergies in this area because I have plant pollen allergies to ragweed and molds. And it is more concerning because it is only 40-50 feet from Granite Park Junior High School.

Unsafe area for pedestrians

In this area, there are some dangerous spaces on sidewalks. On the right side of this picture is a crosswalk, which makes this picture more hazardous for pedestrians. This place was busy area with lots of people walking because there was movie theater and Chinatown Supermarket.

Reflection

Before this assignment, I was in this place because I got out at the wrong bus stop once. I decided to come back because I saw on Google Maps that Granite Park Junior High School is located in this area. There are some hazardous places. Fortunately, I noticed some people doing road work in the distance, and I think those people will recognize some issues when they come close. Overall, Utah is not as dangerous as where I come from, and I believe there is certainly some work to do.
