Information about events and shows was easily accessible either by a digital bill board or by directly asking staff. Rest areas and cafes/restaurants were all signposted very clearly and was very accessible. The planetarium was very informative and told you about some really cool space facts whilst traveling through space. The activities were very enjoyable and were also very factual and packed with information. I was also impressed by how the science centre was also very eco conscious and promoted a good standard of plant life outside of it. This made it very welcoming. It has many different areas to visit and a river also runs through the reserve. There are bird watching places also. It happened al long time ago I believe when I was turning 8 0r 9, so my memory is a little foggy, but I think I was also feeding some bird species including a cockatoo. I also remember holding a hedgehog with white spikes and they had the crocodiles in the opposite rooms (I believe this was after the accident that was the fire, so the crocodiles were in a separate enclosure while the damage site was being rebuilt).

However, this July whist I was away at Turkey I went to Funtastic Aquarium İzmir. There were no facilities available inside the aquarium, but the aquarium itself was inside a shopping center. Again, there where no guide but this wasn’t really necessary as it was a very small aquarium. I got my photo taken, similar to the ones you get on roller-coaster (£12 for the 6 of them an absolute steal) and I got to feed koi carp and various ray species. There where many large, clear signs in both English and Turkey so I was able to read them. It was very informative, like did you know moray eels have a second jaw, like the movie Alien. Overall, I really enjoyed myself, attached are some pictures I took while I was there.
