One of the things that we need is higher profile research that is supported by the university on policy issues ... plus we need to hire Professors who can work at the Faculty level ... rather than just with the Institutes. Who see social justice as paramount ... so it's not just about themselves as an individual climbing the ladder of academic success. Who really do see the future of education as being embedded within the work of young and middle level scholars.
