SOME OF THE CONTENT IN AL-QURAN

1. Sign of creator in the quran (Luqman 10)

2. Oneness of god. (Al-Ikhlas)

• When Jibril came to Rasulullah, he is in the perfect form of men and handsome, and no sign of journey as no one know him at the moment.

• When he ask about Islam, Rasulullah said it is about to testify that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, to perform 5 times prayer a day, to provide zakat, to fast during Ramadhan, and to do Haji at Baitullah for those who capable.

• Next, when he ask about Iman, Rasulullah said it is to believe in Allah, His Angels, His Messenger, The Last Day and the Qada' and Qadr.

• After that, he ask about Ihsan, Rasulullah answer that the Ihsan is about worship to Allah as though we can see him, even though we can't see him, then believe that He is truly can see us.

Gems of the Hadith

• Why Jibril ask Rasulullah although he actually already know everything that he is asking at that moment . It is for the answer (knowledge) to be heard by everyone at that time, because of that at the end of the hadith Rasulullah said he came to teach the religion although what he do is only asking .

• Jibril came to Rasulullah with a beautiful and proper a men form, it is to show the manners to seeking knowledge and respect the knowledge itself .

• Jibril also shows us to sit with polite and manners while seeking knowledge.

• Last but not least, Jibril also illustrates not shy to ask about the religion and knowledge, but in this era we should only ask to the right one only, for instance a teacher, a preacher or someone that went learned about it or someone who really known as his profession .

• There is many verse in al quran that is emphsize the oneness of Allah and Allah as the mighty creator, some of it like :

  
  

  وَإِلَـٰهُكُمْ إِلَـٰهٌۭ وَٰحِدٌۭ ۖ لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ

  "And your God is One God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate."

  ( Albaqarah : 163 )

  
  

  قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌۭ
  ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ
  لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
  وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ

  Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;

  Allah, the Eternal Refuge.

  He neither begets nor is born,

  Nor is there to Him any equivalent.

  ( Alikhlas : 1-4 )

• There is a lot ways for us to execute this pillars such as :

  1. Quranic reflection

  2. Regularly prayer 5 times daily

  3. Observing and amaze the beautiful of God's creation

• on another side we should humble ourself to do everything in our life to achieve the pleasure of Allah .

  
  

• do what Allah had ordered to s to do and avoid everything that has been prohibited .

Iman to the Angels

• Belief the existance of malaikah (angels) that has been created by Allah to fulfil their roles .

• They have been seperated by their roles from taking out souls, delivering revelation and more .

• Their existance has already proven by Allah that had stated in Surah Albaqarah, verse 30 :

  
  

  وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَائِكَةِ إِنِّي جَاعِلٌۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا

  وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّيٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, “Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority.” They said, “Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?” Allah said, “Indeed, I know that which you do not know.”

• Moreover angels is pure from the sins and very strictful to execute the order from Allah .

Iman to the Kitab

• Belief in the scripture words from Allah that was sent through angel to His prophet .

• Only certain of His prophet was sent the kitab as guidance like prophet Daud was given kitab Zabur, prophet Musa was given kitab Taurat, prophet Isa was given kitab Injil and our prophet Muhammad was given the Alquran as our Holy book (kitab) .

• In the Alquran Allah stated that :

  قُولُوا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْنَا وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْمَـٰعِيلَ وَإِسْحَـٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ وَٱلْأَسْبَاطِ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ مُوسَىٰ وَعِيسَىٰ وَمَآ أُوتِىَ ٱلنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ ۚ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَنَحْنُ لَهُۥ مُسْلِمُونَ

  Say, [O believers], “We have believed in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what has been revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Ishaq, Ya'akob, and the Descendants, and what was given to Moses and Jesus and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and we are Muslims [in submission] to Him.”

  ( Surah AlBaqarah : 136 )

• As a muslim we should implementing the learning from the Alquran into our daily life .

• The Alquran is not only stated things about the religion and prayers but also taking points from many perspective from we wake up from sleep until we sleep back .

• Every Rasul is an Anbiya' but not all Anbiya' is a Rasul .

• Anbiya' is a men that Allah chose to be given a revealation but not to deliver it to their people .

• Unlike a Rasul, their roles is to deliver the message and revealation to their people and be the leader of them .

• In holy Alquran, Allah stated that :

  
  

  ءَامَنَ ٱلرَّسُولُ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ كُلٌّ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍۢ مِّن رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ وَقَالُوا۟ سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

  The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. [Grant us] Your forgiveness, our Lord. To You is the [final] destination.”

  ( AlBaqarah : 285 )

• Belief in one of them is belief to all of them, for those who not belief they are in the Kafir .

• our Prophet Muhammad was sent to this two races in on this earth that is human and Jinn .

• How we can express this pillars in our daily life is by following what have our Rasul had teach us long ago, that is Gratitude, Tolerance, Repentance, Simplicity, Moderation, Patience, Equality, Humility, kindness and Accountability .

  
  

  Iman to the Hereafter

  
  

• Hereafter is the world after death, everyone will be brought to life back .

• On that day, everyone will get the list of their deeds record and will be scale .

• Every mukmin should belief to the yaumul qiyamah ( last day ) and the world hereafter to knowledge us that we will not having a chance anymore to do more good deeds and repent or turn back to Allah anymore .

• This message also had delivered by every prophet as reminder to always alert from doing bad or leaving good.

• As Allah has stated in Surah Ghafir verse 16 :

  
  

  يَوْمَ هُمۡ بَارِزُونَۖ لَا يَخۡفَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مِنۡهُمۡ شَيۡءٌۚ لِّمَنِ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَۖ لِلَّهِ ٱلۡوَٰحِدِ ٱلۡقَهَّارِ

  
  

  The Day they will [all] appear [before Allah] — nothing about them will be hidden from Allah. To whom belongs [all] sovereignty this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

  
  

  Iman to Qada' and Qadar

  
  

• Qadar is refers to something that has been planned, something that you will do or things that will happen at you or your surrounding .

• Meanwhile the Qada' refers to the qadar that has been execute .

• Allah has stated in holy Quran in surah AlQamar verse 49 :

  
  

  إِنَّا كُلَّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَـٰهُ بِقَدَرٍ

  
  

  Indeed, We have created everything according to a measure.

  
  

• Qada' and Qadar has 4 component that Ahlu sunnah wal jamaah hold to, that is :

  1. Knowledge

     • Allah know everything, when, what, who and how .

  2. Writing

     • Allah has written all his knowledge about the faith of every each His creation .

  3. Will

     • Everything that happen is on Allah's will, till the creation of both heaven and hell are from HIs will .

  4. Creation

     • Allah is a creator of everything that exist, even the loss is created by Allah such as the death .

• Ihsan is the highest in ranking of the triology islam, iman, and ihsan .

• Ihsan means to do what is beutiful to various of subject, it can be an orphan, an animal, a relative and more in total of 22 subjects refer to Al-Zarkashi .

• Ihsan also represent of showing mercy and kindness between creation to being a Muhsin ( who apply the ihsan ) and gets Allah's pleasent and loved by Allah and prophet .

• According to AlGhazali, being a person is necessity meanwile beaing a person who apply Ihsan is virtue .

• In surah an Nahl verse 90, Allah stated that :

  
  

  إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْعَدْلِ وَٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ وَإِيتَآءِ ذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَيَنْهَىٰ عَنِ ٱلْفَحْشَآءِ وَٱلْمُنكَرِ وَٱلْبَغْىِ ۚ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ

  
  

  Indeed, Allah commands justice, good conduct, and giving to relatives, and forbids immorality, bad conduct, and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

  
  

  Eschatology

• The word "eschat" is from greek word that means last, according to ibn Manzur he said that eschatology also can be refer to arabic word "akhirah" (last) that also can be refer to the end, the state of hereafter or the last .

• Eschatology is part of the theology and deals with the 4 last things that is death, judgement, paradise and hell .

• Every prophet had reminded peoples to belief in life after death, for those who not they are in the kafir group . The denial and not believing in it would destroy a good life of men which he will be driven onto ignorance and disbelief .

• In some verse in AlQuran, explained the concept of Eschatology such as :

  
  

  أَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَلِىٍّۢ وَلَا نَصِيرٍ

  
  

  Do you not know that to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and [that] you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper?

  ( surah AlBaqarah : 107 )

Relationship between Ihsan and Eschatology

• Eschatology is a very important things that we should care about, otherwise Jibril would not ask to prophet Muhammad about the fundamental teaching about islam including the pillars of islam and iman, ihsan and the end day ( eschatology ) .

• In that hadith also Jibril also ask about ihsan which will lead someone to get Allah's pleasure if he execute .

• Ihsan would only be counted after the doers fulfill what is required that he should put it as priority .

• After all this thing, our destiny is only to get Allah's pleasure to ensure us got into the paradise .

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

In this video, I want to share a beautiful saying of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

He said:

“None of you truly believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

— Sahih al-Bukhari & Sahih Muslim

This means that if we really have faith, we should care about others just like we care about ourselves.

If we want to be happy, we should also want others to be happy.

If we want success, we should also hope for others to succeed.

Doing good to each other suchas helping, sharing, and being kind makes our community stronger and brings us closer to Allah.

Even a smile or a kind word can make someone’s day better.

So, let’s always try to be good to one another and spread kindness wherever we go.
