Phoebe, Patrick and Alex appeared in the desert. They were very thirsty.
Then they found a fountain next to the temple. They drank some water.

Phoebe: I always carry an empty bottle with me.
Patrick: Great! I'm very thirsty.
Alex: Me too! Put some water into the bottle.
Phoebe: Hey. Look at the temple.
Alex: Wow! 

Phoebe: It looks very old…
Patrick: Guys! I think the gate is there... Let's go inside!
Alex: Wait a minute. I am drinking water now.
Phoebe: Stop Patrick! I am drinking water too.
When the children went inside the temple…

They found a closed door.
Phoebe: Look, there is a note!
Patrick: It's only a note…
Alex: No, there are instructions.
Patrick: No, worst! We aren't at school. I don't want to do that.
Phoebe: But we must do it.
Phoebe was reading the instructions when Patrick interrupted her.
Patrick: Ok… (he said).
Alex: Ok, we have to follow the instructions.



INSTRUCTIONS
2 spoons of black powder
Gloves
5 spoons of water from the fountain
1 spoon of sand
A vase to mix

Alex: I want to do the experiment, because I always do experiments at  school.
Patrick: Be careful.
In the next room…
Alex was doing the experiment when he looked  into the room.
Alex: The columns are deteriorated and there is nothing in the room.
Patrick: Oh no! The door is locked
Phoebe: Oh, let's check it out.
While Phoebe and Alex were checking the room, Patrick found a door.
Patrick. I found a door! Let's go inside!
Alex: Ok,  great! Phoebe take the experiment.

When Phoebe took the experiment, it dropped.
Phoebe: Oh!  The liquid is dripping slowly on my foot!
 It 's very hot!
Suddenly, the gate appeared.
Patrick: Oh! The gate. Let 's go inside! I want to go home.
Phoebe: Let's jump in!
Alex: Yes. I want to go with my family! I miss them.
And at noon they were arriving home.

Patrick: Guys where are we now?
Alex: I don´t know but I am sure that we are not in our time.
Phoebe: Look guys, there is a certificate that says Dr.Brown so I think that we are in Dr.Brown´s laboratory. I investigated about him last week.
Dr. Brown: Who are you? What are you doing here?
Patrick: I am Patrick, and they are Alex and Phoebe.
Phoebe: We are lost in time, we went through a gate that took us here.
Alex: We told you who we are, now you tell us who you are.
Doctor Brown: I am Doctor Brown.
Alex: We thought of an idea that we can recreate the experiment. But we need some help. Can you help us?
Doctor Brown: Yes of course I’m gonna help you. It isn’t typical to see a gate every day.
Phoebe: Yes! Thank you!
Doctor Brown: Do you remember how to do the experiment?
Phoebe: No, we don’t remember. While I was drying up the instructions Patrick started to add powders and liquids that we don’t remember.
Alex: We can mix different powders and liquids and maybe the gate will open.
Patrick: It’s a great idea. I can do the experiment, because the last time I did it and the gate opened.
Phoebe: Ok!
Doctor Brown: Look! Here are all the ingredients.
Patrick: Can I start?
Doctor Brown: Yes, of course.
Alex: Look guys! There is the gate!
Phoebe: Let 's go!
Doctor Brown: Bye guys!!

Phoebe: Oh no! I have science class!!. 
Phoebe has  science class every Monday.
While Phoebe was running  to  school, Patrick and Alex were having  coffee.
Alex: Are  there science class today??
Patrick: Yes, we have to run!

When the children arrived in school, They crashed 
Phoebe: Auch
Alex: Guys run to the school
When the kids were in science class...
Mr.Davis: children! add two spoons of blue powder 
Mr. Davis: Alex, please read the instructions and Phoebe please follow the instructions. 
Mr.Davis: I have to go to the toilet

Patrick: This is very boring 
While Phoebe was doing other things, Patrick added three spoons of yellow powder.
Alex: What are you doing Patrick!!??
Patrick: I don’t think it’s dangerous

The class finished, In the breaktime...
they were in the school garden 
Phoebe: It is a strange statue
Patrick: We are going to see the statue more closer

When the kids were looking at the statue, a purple gate appeared.

When the children turned, they stumbled into the gate

Patrick: Where are we?
Alex: I think we are in Scotland 
Phoebe: Boys, we have to go back to our time!!

They walked for a long time, and then saw a temple in ruins and they went to investigate.

Phoebe: Look at this!! I think it is a map     
Alex: Yes it is a map of Scotland
Patrick: We have to look into the map to escape

Phoebe: Boys, look at this!!
Alex: It's a special door
Patrick:Let`s go to the door!
Alex:Yes!!!

When the kids arrived at the door

Phoebe: Here is the door
Patrick: Look at this, Is it a lion?
Alex: I think it's a lion, jump into the gate!!!
Phoebe: Fast!!

The kids jumped into the gate and appeared in the school again.
