An unfortunate turn of events leads to them burning down a building. The next day they meet again except this time he's running from some big bad military dudes. She hides Jin, though it's clear he has secrets. Amani convinces him to get her out of Dustwalk.  A magical horse- like creature called a Buraqi is being hunted. Amani captures it but in all the chaos it seems Jin has left without her. But has he?! Read to find out! I would not put the book down for two days but luckily the sequel is coming out in March. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys fantasy, romance, and action.
