1. Begin with the phrase, "All I need to know about life I learned from _________________." Choose a topic that's general and can apply to anybody/everybody.

2. Include a list of 5 statements about the same topic.

3. Make your last sentence memorable and powerful.

4. Try to mix humor and seriousness.

5. Remain classroom appropriate.

Groom often.

Wanting to be alone and independent doesn't mean you're being mean.

Sweetness goes a long way. 

If you eat too much, you'll throw up.

And no matter what if it's an emergency, or if you're too lazy, do your business "in the box" and not out of it.
