Each group carries out an independent “Data Expedition”: iN 90 minutes, the team has to:

1. choose a project from the list presented by the Interreg Manage

Authority

2. identifies its main objectives

3. fills out a model (canvas, gantt, timeline, concept

map, or interactive dashboard) describing the civic monitoring process it intends to follow,

through predefined steps.

4. The group then presents the chosen project to the rest of the class

with a pitch (a short presentation of max 3 minutes).

5. By mutual agreement, the class decides

which civic monitoring research to carry out from that moment on for the entire ASOC2526

program.

6. Then, the team shares its top three (online or by e-mail) with its team-partner and

they finally decide together which project to be monitored

7. Once the project is selected, roles are assigned

● establish a work plan with deadlines for the delivery of the content developed

by the rest of the team

● collect the team’s work at least one week before the deadline to check that it

follows the decisions taken during the lesson

● fill out the lesson report with the work developed

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER AND CODER:

● create the team’s social media profiles

IMPORTANT: when selecting the name of Google and social media accounts,

do not use names or references directly associated with the project (e.g.

“ASOC”, “OPENCOHESION”, “COHESION”)

● write the first post on Instagram summarising the aim of the selected research

and following the instructions provided in the Communication Vademecum

● in social media communications, always use the hashtags #ASOC2526

The Social Media Manager also carefully updates and follows the team’s social media,

with the aim of contacting other institutions and entities that may be interested in

the research, also collaborating with the Europe Direct Information Centres and

NGOs, where applicable.

DESIGNER:

● develops a logo to represent the theme and project chosen for the research.

IMPORTANT: IN TEAM NAMES AND LOGOS, DO NOT USE THE WORDS “ASOC”

AND “OPENCOHESION”.

STORYTELLER AND BLOGGER:

● choose the most representative photos of the lesson to attach to the lesson

report (image as evidence)

ANALYST AND CODER:

● write which additional data and information were found during the lesson in

class and how they may be helpful for the research

ASOC (At the School of Open Cohesion) je inovativan obrazovni model namijenjen učenicima srednjih škola koji ima za cilj usvajanje znanja o kohezijskoj politici Europske unije te alata za građansko praćenje javnih financija u okviru projekata financiranih iz EU fondova.

Inicijativa ASOC nastala je u Italiji 2013. godine uz potporu Vlade Republike Italije te se postupno proširila na cijeli niz europskih zemalja. Ministarstvo je 2019. godine prihvatilo poziv na uključivanje u projekt ASOC te se projekt od tada provodio uz kraće pauze.

U školskoj godini 2025./2026. MRRFEU će, u suradnji s Ministarstvom znanosti, obrazovanja i sporta te kolegama iz Italije biti ponovno zaduženo za koordinaciju i provedbu projekta ASOC.

Projekt će se provoditi u okviru Programa prekogranične suradnje Interreg Italija- Hrvatska 2021-2027 te predviđa uključivanje srednjih škola s područja 8 županija koje su dio programskog područja (Primorsko-goranska, Ličko-senjska, Zadarska, Šibensko-kninska, Splitsko-dalmatinska, Dubrovačko-neretvanska, Istarska i Karlovačka).
