Digital Spinners

Job charts - implementing a line patrol officer (one of the students is in charge of helping everyone get quiet and in line)

Transitions - Counting to 100 timer song; lasts about 3 min

beginning of class routine

students follow 3 to 4 steps on the board (these steps tell them what materials to have out on their desk before starting class)

then students solve the mystery sentence on the board and raise a thumb when they are ready to begin class.

Morning Routine

Students enter the room and begin writing the objective and assignment(s) for the day. Then they gather needed materials from bins and begin working. Timed to 4-5 minutes.
