Excitement never comes easy or lasts very long when combined with depression. 

People sometimes overlook depression or dismiss it as if you just aren’t looking at the positivity in your life.
Reality doesn’t seem very real sometimes, it gets twisted in the storm that is like one’s mind.
Excuses aren’t what you think, i just want you to understand i’m having a hard time.
Sometimes it’s hard to get out of bed with the thought that i will feel the way i did yesterday.
Sometimes it’s hard to go to sleep the dangerous thoughts rolling around in my head.
I want to overcome this.

One day i know i will.
Not today, some day just not today 

I am the one who feeds you lies 

I am the one who convinces you of those lies

I am  the one who gnaws on your sanity

To tell you that you aren’t good enough

To convince you the mistakes you made will be your fatality 

I am what makes you miserable

I am what makes you insecure

I am what handicaps you from being free

I am what deconstructs you from the inside out

I am Anxiety

On that panth pablo met a prairie dog named Patricia 

Patricia and pablo became pals and continued the walk on the peaceful path 

Pablo and patricia found a potato and named it Patrick  

The penguin the prairie dog and the potato decided to go parachuting. They were plummeting like a pair of purple pineapples falling from a pine tree

You silence the sickening thoughts pounding on my skull 

You satisfy the hunger for peace that my heart longs for

You are there for me when I struggle against the urge to mute my pain with a razor 

I turn to you instead because I know you will be there to soothe me with your calming presence

I love the voices you have and for different times I need them all 

I honestly don’t know if I would be able to go on without you 

You soothe me like milk soothes a baby 

I cannot sleep without you anymore

When you leave I feel incomplete 

You are a part of me just as much as a cap is apart of a bottle 

It can be removed but it isn’t as functional without it  

You are my best friend someone I know will always be there for me 

You are what I enjoy in life 

You may just be a collection of words and sounds but you are so much more to me

We plaster up wallpaper to cover up the ugly stains 

We hide behind filters or social media posts 

We try so hard to cover up what's wrong when we should fix it instead 

Some people don’t realise what  they are doing 

Others are are trying so hard 

I know what it’s like to want the perfect image 

To hate yourself and constantly want to be more likeable
