I don’t think the story is good.

Because the tree is kind to the boy so much.

So I think it’s unfortunate.

The boy looked like fun when he played with the tree. When the tree gave him a rest he looked like relax. So I think the boy was happy to sent time with the tree.

The tree thought happy when she helped the boy. When the boy didn’t play with her, she looked like sad. And then she started to help the boy harder. She felt to do it happy. So I think the tree was happy.

Because when the boy cut down her trunk, it was written 『And the tree was happy but not really』. So I thought the tree didn’t like just being use.

ただただ使われたり、利用されのは恐らく木は嫌だったというか悲しかったのだと、思う。なぜなら、切られてしまったときに　木は男の子に自分のものを与えられて嬉しかった。みたいに書かれてある反面

でも、本当じゃない。みたいに書かれてありこのことから愛が薄く使われるのは少し悲しかったのだと考える。子供の頃に比べて木と会って、触れ合う時間よりも　木から何かを得るために会う時間の方が多くなっていったから昔に比べれると男の子は木に対して愛が薄くなっていたと感じました。だから、その、木の嬉しいという気持ちは本当じゃない。という意味があるのではないかと考えた。

Japanese picture books for children are soft.I thought of two things to soften English picture books sentences.

First,It is all written in Hhiragana.I'll try to write all sentences in Hhiragana.

Second,don't translate literally."swing" is "揺れる" in Japanese.But "揺れる" is "ゆらゆら揺れる" in Japanese picture books.I think it will be soft sentences by expanding the meaning.I have to idiomatic translation.
