Temple realized that if she could prove that the machine worked for herself and other people, then she could be proved a power house of knowledge within the cattle trading industry. It shows that she herself just wanted to be treated humanely and therefore understood the feelings the cattle felt when going through the slaughtering process. The fear, the uncertainty, and the need for safety. She found a way to make them feel safe, and remove the anxiety from the slaughtering process. Once she learned how to improve the quality of the cattle's lives she realized that she could change the way cattle are treated throughout the entire industry and therefore change the industry as a whole with her designs.
