Literacy - have to know about it to recognise the line. Some more and some less vulnerable assessments. Tailor AI to use assessment type. We haven't had enough training yet to know exactly where the line is. University approach at Monash does help with vulnerability to AI integrity issues. Normalising acknowledgement - when it is used. Have to demonstrate by example. Some cases where AI should not be used - clear line. But some cases it should be used with conditions.

Group 2 - there is no line. ALways responsible for the quality of what you do. Integrity is fundamental - without it you have nothing. Use it appropriately - so appropriate use need to be defined. Depends on situation. Don't know if it has been used - students are ahead of us. Each sector may need some framework or guideline about both acceptable use but also how it should be used. Graduates should be able to do better than AI. Mixture of assessments - some closed book and some with conditional use of AI.

Group 3. Is this about integrity? Some high stakes things don't allow - OSCE / oral / lock down. For AI allowed - line is always changing. E.g. grammarly. Hard to have hard and fast policies. Flexible in restrictions - have a general statement - show problematic use and show great use of AI. Must have a range of assessments. Need to have ethics discussion - perhaps student-led discussion

Group 4 - scare students with medical negligence. Should there be consequences? Some different views in the group. Some say use it and declare it. Others concerned with individual attainment of learning outcome. Maybe give a joint degree to student and Chat GPT. Have to control what we point in.

Group 5. Tiers of assessment - student knows conditions - not at all, when appropriate - how to use it well, how not to use it. Are we going to lose our ability to use our brain? Professional situation - need to know how to use it well. Smaller amount of core knowledge.
