On pages 36 and 37, she listens to Bat talk about how he feels sick when he has to leave the kit skunk to go to his Dad's for the weekend. I think she is understanding she listened to Bat and because she checked his throat/mouth. Bat seems to be childish in the way he is begging for the skunk (On page 22 and 23). Bat also seems to be parsimonious because he only thinks about himself and how to get that skunk, nothing else such as compassion. On page 36, Bat shows  desperation by wanting so badly to "GET THAT SKUNK!" that he uses the classic trick of saying "I'm sick.", although his trick does not work and Bat goes to Plan B: grumble and whine until he gets what he wants. Of course, whining never works so Bat is forced to go to Dad's house, without the Skunk kit.
Childish, Wanting and Desperations often come with wanting something, but in interesting combo.
