         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Epic Hero</strong> :  <strong>A brave and noble warrior that goes on a journey, trail, or adventure. It's usually found in Epic Poems. <br><br></strong>Sentence :<strong> In the story </strong><strong><em>Beowulf , </em></strong><strong>Beowulf had all the characteristics of an epic hero. </strong><br><br><br><strong>Epic Poem : a long poetic narrative that usually features a hero ( a epic hero). <br><br></strong>Sentence<strong> : Beowulf is an example of an epic poem<br><br><br>Alliteration : Alliteration in literature is when two or more words began with the same sound. <br><br></strong>Sentence<strong> : Poems that use alliteration are often tongue twisters and start with the same sound. <br><br><br>Kennings : A two worded phrase that describes objects / things by using metaphors. <br><br></strong>Sentence<strong> : The owner use the kenning "Postman chaser" when referring to his dog.<br><br>Wergild (man - payment) - compensation paid to warriors for killing a person, amount paid depends on warriors rank. <br></strong><br></div><div>Sentence : <strong>The warriors always received a wergild by the king when they completed their mission</strong><br><br><br><strong><em>Beowulf</em></strong><strong> </strong></div><div><strong><br>Furled v : To wrap, roll , or hold up something. <br><br></strong>Sentence<strong> : The US Navy furled up the flag. <br><br><br>Vehemently adv ; Intense, forceful , and antagonistic.<br><br></strong>Sentence <strong>: A student vehemently opposed the grade he received on the test.<br><br><br>Extolled v : To praise <br><br></strong>Sentence : The king extolled the warrior for completing his mission.<strong><br><br>Lavish adj : High grade, rich, or luxurious<br><br></strong>Sentence : The king wore lavish clothing to the ball. <strong><br><br><br>Infallible adj : not capable of making mistakes / errors. <br><br></strong>Sentence<strong> : People thought the titanic was Infallible and couldn't sink. <br><br><br>Resolute adj : Firm determination <br><br><br></strong>Sentence <strong>: She was resolute on finding a job before this month.<br><br><br></strong><br><br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>
