The wind shear ( wind speed or direction) is low and there is a large amount  of atmospheric moisture which allows cloud growth.

The pressure lowers and wind increases.The convective clouds form into spirals and the eye develops.  

Mature stage is reached and this is when the cyclone is at it's maximum size & strength.

Some scientists such as billionaire Bill Gates believe that a process of using fleets of vessels to mix warm water from the surface of the ocean with colder water from deeper areas in effort to cool down the surface of the water to help prevent & control the cyclones.

Technology is also helping reduce damage that these disasters make. More developed countries have the resources that allow emergency services & scientists to monitor  and prepare for the occurrence and size of the storm.

Wind turbines are created by environmental engineers. Wind turbines are considered to provide a defence against cyclones, by slowing damaging winds.

Mathematics are used to measure the speed of the wind speed and gust, size that it takes up.
