Two years ago, I attended the Dalat Flower Festival while travelling in Dalat. The festival was held by The People’s Committee of Lam Dong Province and Dalat flower Association. I felt very excited because the festival is just held once in two years in December to honor the value of flowers and to attract more tourists to the area. Areas in the square and Xuan Huong lake were decorated with many kinds of different flowers. Local people and tourists come here to enjoy the flowers, took pictures. There are many exciting activities including music performance, Ao Dai fashion show, Dalat Wine Night.

Five years ago, I attended a very big festival in Ha Noi. It's called 1000th Anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi Festival. There are a lot of activities in this festival such as fireworks display, military parade, music performances, ect. It was organized very splendidly because the organizers are the Viet Nam government. Millions of people came to Ha Noi to participate in this great festival. It was held for ten days from October 1st 2015 to October 10th 2015. I saw lots of fireworks, parties, parades during these days. It was interesting. I took so many pictures on this festival because there were plenty of beautiful scenes. We organized this great festival to celebrate the anniversary . I loves the festival

When I was in the 6th grade, there was a festival that took place, I do not remember its name but I remember this was a festival with the theme of the sea, culture, events and a lot of delicious food<3
It takes place up to 3 days in Da Nang, you can buy a lot of things like decorative accessories, clothes, shoes, food and you are also hired a canoe to walk on the sea.

Every year, I always attend in a familiar festival. It is Tet.It takes place 9 days and it happens in all over of Vietnam. Everybody go back to their countryside to meet their relatives after a hard - working year to congratulate a new lucky year.To celebrate this event, first you must worship the kitchen guardians.After that, you must worship your ancestor.
When the first day of lunar new year, you can pray for more lucky for new year.The next day, adult wil give children lucky money and visit their relatives's house.I like Tet very much because I can go to my countryside to play with my brother and sister.

Tet holiday often lasts for 6 - 9 days. for Tet, all family members clean and clear all the house to have good luck and we also decorate the house , too . In every year, I usually attend in a familiar in this festival. It is a famous festival in Viet Nam.It often takes 9 or 10 days to happen.In this festival,we goback to the countryside to have a celebration. Families usually clean and decorate their houses because they beleive that it will clean the " sorow" in the previous year in their house.To celebrate this event, you must worship the kitchen guardians.When the first day of lunar new year, you can have the lucky for new year. We enjoy this festival by preparing traditional food like Banh Chung,Banh Tet,...and some traditional food like that.About me, I love Tet because I can visit my grandma,my grandpa,and my friends in my countryside.

Tet, as known as Lunar New Year holiday is one of the most important festival in Vietnam. Tet is an occasion to everyone get together in warm atmosphere. Just like in Western countries that follow Christianity, Christmas is a sacred and important holiday, so is the traditional New Year's Day. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. Tet usually occurs at the end of January or at the beginning of February. Tet holiday often lasts for 7 - 9 days. Normally in Vietnam, every occasion to prepare for the Lunar New Year, everyone, whether working or going to school, has a holiday schedule. Normally, the time off is from one working week or more (for employees) and two to three days before December 30. To prepare for the important Tet holiday of this year, every family often buys a lot of new things, cleans the house, prepares a tray of rice to worship ancestors. There are some differences between Tet in the North and the South of Vietnam. In the North, the traditional food of Tet is Chung cake – a rectangular sticky rice cake with meat, which is wrapped in phrynium. People usually buy the cakes with some cherry blossom branches as a symbol of Tet to decorate their houses. In the South, people consider apricots and Tet cakes are the symbols of Tet. Tet cake is also made from sticky rice, and the inside can be sweet beans, bananas, or even meat. On the first day of New Year, youngsters will give their best greetings to oldsters and receive lucky money. For all Vietnamese, Tet is an occasion for them to reunion after 12-month working hard outside. That is the time to have family gatherings and welcome the new year with many blessings. This is not only a custom but also a cultural beauty of the Vietnamese people, to show concern and hope for a full and peaceful life for everyone.

Tet is one of the most festival in Vietnam. Tet have another name is Vietnam Traditional Lunar New Year. In Tet Holiday, we will make some Chung cake and cylindrical glutinous rice cake. In 30 of December of the Lunar calendar we will have a year-end meal together, at 12 o'clock we will watch firework together. In Tet everyone are give lucky money to children or the elderly.

Five years ago, I attended the Perfume Pagoda festival in My Duc, Hanoi. The festival starts from January 6 to March 3 of the lunar calendar to pray for peace and release the soul into nature. At Yen stream area, rows of boats follow each other creating a beautiful scene.

I go to the Keo Pagoda festival once a year. Keo Pagoda festival takes place in Thai Binh province of VietNam and It held on the 4th day of the first lunar month and the 13th, 14th, 15th day of the september lunar month.This festival is held for the purpose of Đức Thiền Sư Không Lộ he was the healer of king Ly and he was verry good at Buddhism. People usually come to the festival to pray for gook luck and play ViêtNam folk games.I think you should go to the Keo pagoda festival because it very interesting.

Tet is an important festival in Vietnamese. Everybody is tidied at this festival. Special food is cooked, offerings of food, freshwater, flowers, and betel are placed on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. At Tet, the visitors come and Children are given a red envelope in which there is an amount of money, called lucky money. During Tet, children often behave well with friends, relatives, and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year.
