Astrologist are used to predict the future. 

Full skirts were draped over a farthingale, a frame that made the skirt look large and full. Rich, elaborate materials were used during the Elizabethan period.

Elizabeth loved to dress extravagantly. Her dresses were always colourful, detailed and very eye-catching, putting her always in the spotlight. She used a lot of jewels and she loved accessories with pearls: which are a symbol of virginity – the Virgin Queen.

In the picture below we can see the Virgin Queen with a very beautiful blue dress, which she used when Walter Raleigh was telling her about his trips across the large ocean, about the new world, the liberty, the feelings you have when you’re on the ship. She was so interested that she even made her guests wait until he finished it. The blue symbolises the ocean, tranquility and eternity. 

Here we can see Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, before her execution. She is in a vivid and intense red dress. The red represents blood and death so, in this case, Mary will represent the blood of the war that is coming.

This picture shows a sad Elizabeth, after the death of Mary Stuart. The ambiance is heavy and her face shows seriousness. The dress is simple and also heavy and its purple represents the change of something. The purple color is able to combat the fears and contribute to peace too.

During the age of Elizabeth, painting was dominated by      portraiture, particularly          in the form of miniatures, while prevailed in the decorative arts, and sculpture. Elizabethan England decorative arts were dominated by silver works and colourful crystal as well. 

Miniature painting like such were often found during Elizabethan era.

Floral and colourful patterns were often stitched and worn by them.

Elizabethan architecture is the term used to describe the unique appearance of the architecture that was dominant throughout England during Queen  Elizabeth I's reign. 

Stylistically, Elizabethan architecture is notably pluralistic. It came at the end of insular traditions in design and construction called the perpendicular style in church building. 

The reign of Elizabeth saw growing prosperity, and contemporaries remarked on the pace of secular building among the well-off.  The somewhat tentative influence of Renaissance architecture is mainly seen in the great houses of courtiers.
