In the perspective of Alma's Mom

It had been 2 weeks since Alma had mysteriously gone missing in Jackson Alley. I, (her mom) went walking down the alley to see if I could find any clues to where she had gone. I passed where she wrote her name on the chalk, and noticed something in my reflection. There was a beautiful doll in a window of an old store. When I looked closer, I saw that it looked exactly like me. It had my hair, makeup, face, and even exact same clothes I was wearing. I wanted it. It was like there was an invisible force, pulling me towards the doll. When I tried to open the door of the store, it had already been unlocked, so I went in to see if I could get it, because it's not too common to find a doll that looked exactly like you. When I got inside, it looked like the doll had moved to a table in the middle of the store, but it was probably just my imagination. I walked over to the table and reached to grab it, but suddenly I stopped. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw a doll, a doll that looked exactly like Alma. I abandoned the other doll and started walking towards Alma. I cared more about her than me. When I touched it, there was a bright light and the doll was gone. Instead, Alma sat there on the shelf looking confused and uncomfortable on that tiny little shelf. "ALMA?!" I shouted. "MOM!!" she shouted back. We hugged each other and then stopped. There were still more dolls, with more innocent souls trapped inside! We both went around the store and touched each doll. Every time we did, there was a flash of light, and they disappeared back into the time of their past. We worked until each and every doll was gone from these shelves. We lived happily ever after and NEVER went into any more suspicious stores. EVER.

THE END
