         <title>First Degree Burns</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; What are first degree burns? First degree burns are red non blistered skin. First degree burns are the most common kind of burn. They are usually caused by touching a hot stove, curling iron or straightener. Some symptoms of first degree burns are discoloration, pain when touching skin and peeling skin.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Some treatment options consist of using aloe-vera to soothe the skin. Another thing is to use sunscreen to prevent burns from even happening in the first place (specifically to sunburns). You can also cool the burn.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; What are second degree burns? Second degree burns are a type of burn that affect your epidermis and dermis. This kind may cause swelling, red white or blotchy skin. There can also be blisters. Some things that may cause this are very hot water, open fire, hot objects, occasionally sun, chemicals and electricity.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Some treatments for this include cooling the burn (water or ice), protect the burn with bandages and of course to see a doctor.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; What are third degree burns? These are a type of burn that lies beneath the dermis. They are burns that reach to your fat layer. Things that cause this kind of burn consist of scalding liquid or skin that have been exposed to a hot object for a period of time. The skin from this type usually has stiff, waxy white or tan skin. The skin also doesn't grow back on its own since it has all been burned.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>Some treatment for this type can most commonly need skin grafts.          <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Jaundice is the yellow coloration seen in the skin. This condition is usually found in the skin, sclera and mucous membranes. This is caused by high levels of bilirubin. This is a yellow/orange bile pigment. Some causes consist of&nbsp; hepatitis and gallstone tumors. In adults Jaundice doesn't need to be treated but it does for infants. Some symptoms consist of fever, chills, abdominal pain, flu-like symptoms, change in skin color or darker colored urine.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>      Treatment for jaundice in infants can be enhancing their nutrition, light therapy, intravenous immunoglobulin or an exchange transfusion. &nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <title>Squamous Cell Carcinoma</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Squamous Cell Carcinoma is the second most common form of skin cancer. This is caused by rapid growth and division of squamous cells. This type of Cancer is fairly easy to treat early on but if caught later on it can be quite deadly. Symptoms of this conclude a firm red nodule, a flat sore with scaly crust, a new sore or raised are in the skin, a rough scaly patch, etc.<br><br>Some treatment for this include any kind of surgery to remove the effected area. </div>]]></description>

Eczema also flairs at times. Symptoms of this include dry cracked skin, itchiness, rashes, small raised bumps, oozing, thickened skin and raw sensitive skin.&nbsp;<br><br>Treatments for this can be eczema cream, drugs or pills to help with the symptoms. </div>]]></description>
