Use the structure we learn today, write the introduction outline for your final course's presentation. Then record a video talking ONLY about that introduction. You don't need the body and the conclusion at the moment.

2. [BEFORE CLASS] Lesson 6:

Watch a short video to understand ways to build the body of your speech. Then, answer these questions:

a/ How many main points should we have in a speech?

b/ How many ideas should a main point have?

c/ For the main idea, how should we write them? Should we write the main ideas the same way, or in different ways?

Then record a video talking

ONLY about that body part. You don't need the introduction and the conclusion at the moment.

2. [BEFORE CLASS] Lesson 8:

Watch a short video to understand ways to end a speech. Then, write 3 phrases you like best in the video for a speech's conclusion.

Use the structure we learn today, write the conclusion outline for your final course's presentation. Then record a video talking

ONLY about that conclusion part. You don't need the introduction and the body part.

2. [BEFORE CLASS] Lesson 9:

Watch this short video, then answer 4 questions from 2:20 of the video and write your answer in this Padlet

Task:

Choose a topic you like (e.g., favorite animal, healthy food, a country to visit...).

Prepare a 2–3 minute talk.

Use at least 1 visual aid (picture, drawing, chart, slide, or real object).

Remember to:

Say your topic clearly.

Show your visual aid while speaking.

Explain why the visual aid helps your talk.

Finish with a short conclusion

Task:

1. Choose one simple topic (e.g., My Pet, My Favorite Food, My Dream House...).

2. Prepare a short talk (about 1–2 minutes).

3. Make or bring one visual aid to support your talk.

   • Example: a photo, drawing, chart, real object, or a simple slide.

Choose ONE of the following tasks:

- Give a 1–2 minute speech about “My Favorite Hobby”.

- Give a 1–2 minute speech about “A Person I Admire”.

-> Remember to:

Speak slowly and clearly.

Make eye contact (if possible).

Use your hands or body language naturally.

If possible, prepare a simple visual aid.

Task:

Prepare a 2–5 minute speech on a topic of your choice. (examples : The Importance of Reading, Healthy Lifestyle, My Dream Job, Protecting the Environment).

Your speech must include:

- Attention Hook – Start with a question, a fun fact, or a short story to grab attention.

- Visual Aid – Use at least one visual aid (picture, chart, poster, object, or slide) to support your ideas.

- Quote in the Conclusion – End your speech with a meaningful quote related to your topic.
