Once China had finally accepted Confucianism and its ideas China came up with a new philosophy called Neo-Confucianism.
In China if you wanted to become s civil servant then you had to pass a series of written exams called civil service exams.
If you were a scholar official in the government you were considered to be an educated member of the government.
