As I had to focus on two specific rubrics, I had to stick to that way of assessing and I couldn't correct the essays in a different way.

One of those rubrics was an analytical one, which contains more detailed information taking into account the vocabulary, content or organization and, in my opinion, was easier to follow than the holistic because the holistic rubric analyzes all in a more general level. This last rubric is focus on the coherent, if the text is well organized or the kind of language you use.

I think that doing it this way has been positive because it has helped me to get to know two different ways of assessing and to be able to apply them depending on the activity to be carried out.

Personally, in terms of structure, compositional organisation, content, adequacy and punctuation it would not have been very different. What might have helped me would have been when it came to grammatical and vocabulary errors that I might have had any doubts about.

2. What were the main difficulties you encountered in terms of spelling, grammar and vocabulary?
What I found most difficult in this part was having to look for synonyms or a different way of explaining what I wanted to say in order to avoid making mistakes when writing.

3. How often have you revised the text structure?
I revised the structure of the text as I went doing it, paragraph by paragraph, so that everything made sense and followed an order.
When I have finished the text I have revised it all again.

4. Which contents, if any, could you have included in your letter but you didn't?
I could have included that in the summer of 2016 I spent a month studying in Ireland and in the summer of 2017 I spent a month in Norwich. In addition, that same summer the government gave me the InterWay scholarship for a language investment camp.

On the other hand, my classmates who were assessing my partner and me have told me that I have used good pronunciation, good non-verbal language and good grammatical usage in my answers.

In my group, we talked about the barriers we face when teaching English in different countries as there are different dialects and also the difficulties we can encounter when speaking with a native speaker.

Afterwards, we made pairs depending on the pronunciation of the letter we had been assigned and we were answering all the class together about the experiences we had had with the language in class as a teacher and about what you need to be a teacher in your country.

Finally, we discussed the difference between vowels and consonants when pronouncing them and we learned that the difference is in the vocal cords, as vowels vibrate and consonants produce friction.

After this we did a kahoot that was about the phonology of words that were written with the same letters but pronounced differently. Those of us who commented on this agreed that we had missed pronunciation classes and that this could be a problem when communicating with native speakers.

On the other hand, we also think that creating our own activities can be good for the students as we don't have any English as a reference but at the same time it is hard because of the material we have to innovate.

For me, this is the most difficult thing we have done in class so far as it is also something completely new.

To finish, we did a kahoot with the pair we had formed to finish working on phonology. Then, we have been explained the work we have to do for Christmas working on the song with a TBLT session.

Finally, we have been discussing what we will be doing at the last meeting we have with Coventry University.

Personally, I think it has been one of the most enjoyable classes so far because it has been a very dynamic and practical session at the same time. At the end we did a survey to give feedback to the people who had organised everything, and another survey asking us what we had learnt from the talks or if our opinion had changed on some of the topics that had been discussed.

I found it a very interesting way as we always resort to the dictionary when we don't have a word and we don't think about what it means because of the context in which it is found. In addition to the vocabulary, we also had to answer some questions about what was going on, so we could also practice the listening comprehension part and to know to pronounce the words with a British accent.

The last part of the class was used to work on reported speech. We practised this by transcribing part of the text of the scene we saw. It has been a class of ups and downs because on the one hand I was calm because we were revising the contents of the exam but on the other hand I was more tense than usual because I didn't have time with the kahoots to think about the answer and I was a bit accelerated.

In the end it was easier for me because I just understood things, especially with the reported speech, the second kahoot that we did on this topic was easier because I was clearer about the theory and it helped me to go a little faster and do it better.
