2. The user of the pump can still administer a bolus of insulin from the pump if the smart-phone like wireless device is perhaps lost or if the patient cannot master the use of using the wireless device.
3. Because of the tube-free design, it is possible for the pump to be disconnected and reattached without wasting insulin.

Since patients typically get diagnosed with type I diabetes at an early age, the technology of this insulin pump is user-friendly to the 21st century child or teenager.  Although the wireless-device to control the insulin pump could get lost, it is a benefit that the insulin can still be administered directly from the pump. Of course a patient could become too dependent on the wireless-device and could forget how to manually administer insulin from the pump- in which case the patient could simply call their doctor's office and ask for clarification and instruction.  Furthermore, with the micropump system being able to connect with the Roche Diabetes Care online system and Accu-Chek Smart Pix system, it is so much easier for the patient's doctor to look at a summary of the patient's glucose levels, insulin compliance and diet. Especially when newly diagnosed diabetic patients are learning how to manage their diabetes with their diet and insulin, it is very beneficial for the patient's doctor to see the summary of the patient's efforts in order to provide specific teaching for the patient. Since being appointed to lead the evaluation team, I am gifted at "going with the flow", enabling those around me to be successful, being a positive influence, encouraging my team members, and making sure that my team members feel included and of value to the team.
However, I need five other team members to ensure that our evaluation team is successful by appointing members that are gifted with the skills that I am not gifted at. Therefore, I appoint the following five team members:

Angelica-  will be vital to the team because she is gifted in being analytical. Our team needs someone that is good with numbers, and thinks about matters that will affect the situation at hand.

Chelsea- is gifted with the strength of command. She will be a good team member because she can take control of a situation and make decisions.

Chloe- her strength is competition. We will need someone on the team who is motivated and wants to make sure that this project is a success.

Fernando-  is needed on our team because his strength is focus. He can be given something to work on and can follow through with the task. With so many strong personalities on our team, it will be vital to have someone that can follow through with a task diligently.

Sheila- will be very important to our team since she is strategic and can come up with alternate methods if a plan does not turn out the way imagined.
