Everyone, including us humans, is part of the Earth's ecosystem which means that we are affected by deforestation, loss of natural habitats, and land degradation. We humans in particular have caused severe damage to ecosystems. Promoting the sustainable use of ecosystems and preserving biodiversity means protecting the future of our planet and its creatures.

As Conservation Coordinator, Pema is responsible for monitoring and collecting basic data on red pandas and their habitat in Nepal, as well as research and conservation programs.

[Documentary clipping]
(13:32~)

As an adult, Pema enrolled in a local college and studied forestry. During that time, she became involved with several wildlife research and conservation organizations, and through a group called Himalayan Scholars for Nature, she was able to participate in a variety of conservation activities, including tree planting and animal rescue, she recalls.
After graduation, Pema volunteered with red pandas. This inspired her to join the RPN Asia team based in eastern Nepal as a full-time employee. She says she is more excited than ever to be able to use her skills and passion as a Conservation Coordinator. In my new position, I want to do everything I can to protect red pandas and their habitat," she says.

https://redpandanetwork.org/

Since some of the extra energy from a warmer atmosphere radiates back down to the surface, Earth’s surface temperature rises.
