There were thousands upon thousands of British and French troops stuck at Dunkirk, desperately trying last, whilst being attacked and closed in on by the Germans. As they desperately tried to evacuate, over the course of nine days, they had little too no hope they would escape what they thought to be their utter annihilation. After those nine days, the troops had finally made it back home. It took place between the Allies and Japan. Japans goal was to expand and reach farther out into the Pacific, by launching attacks on Midway Island in order to take it over.
