Yes the conflicts have changed but over all revolved around Joel and Tony. They all were abut going to the bluffs and the way there. Conflicts:
Joel's dad allowing
Tony's ideas
Swimming in the river
Tony not being able to swim
Tony dying
Guilt
Joel lying about things

The conflict at the beginning of the book was that Joel did not want to go to the bluffs. It changed to be more of an internal conflict. Joel is feeling guilty and angry about the tragedy. Mostly, now, the conflicts are internal conflicts, but there are also person versus person conflicts, like Joel not wanting to go in the river.

The conflicts in this novel have changed because in the beginning, it was Person vs Person, but now it is Person vs Internal thoughts, and Person vs society.

the conflict in the novel changed.the beginning of the novel was because joel did not want to go to the bluffs. then joel did not want to go to the river but he did anyways because tony wanted to go and swim. but when they got in joel turned around and did not see tony!😭

The conflicts in the novel have changed. At first it was Person vs. Person when Joel and Tony were arguing about going to the bluffs and then swimming in the river. Then it was Person vs. Self after Tony died and Joel was blaming everybody and he was all sad inside and stuff.

Yes, the conflicts have changed by in the beginning, the conflict was Joel and tony couldn't agree whether they should do what Tony wants to do, or what Joel wants to do. But then, later in the novel, Tony drowned, and now Joel doesn't know how to tell their parents (and that is the present conflict, person vs. self.)

Yes the conflicts have changed. At the beginning of the story it was person vs person because Tony wanted to go to the blues and stuff like that but Joes didn't. Closer to the and of the story It was person vs self because Joel felt bad for tony and he also didn't know what to do and he felt bad because he lied to his dad.

Yes the conflict has changed. At first in the beginning it was person vs person, but now in the middle close to the end it is person vs internal thoughts and person vs self.Some other conflicts that are happening are persons vs nature, person vs fate and person vs person.

Yes the conflict have changed because originally the conflict was that Tony was too "adventurous" and he risked his life a lot, and Joel wanted to be safe, and try to attempt to help keep Tony safe as well. So the conflict was that they were pretty much exact different people. However, now the conflict is that Tony is missing (dead) and Joel doesn't know what to do about it. So now Joel feels guilty. The conflicts at this point are Person vs. Fate because Tony was always a little crazy, and I feel as though it was bound to happen that out of the both of them tons would of been the one to drown. ( because of how crazy his personality is) Also, Person vs. Self because now that Tony is "missing" Joel feels this type of guilt and he feels that the situation is purely his fault. Person vs. Self.

Yes, the conflicts in the novel have changed over time( or over the course of the book).Some types of conflicts that are present in this part of the novel are Person v.s Nature. The nature in this is the Vermillion River. When Tony and Joel went swimming in the Vermillion River, it was supposed to be fun. But instead, the nature ended up being against then( because Tony drowned in the Vermillion River.
