Bringing 144 men which included John smith. He would later leave and return a year later with only 38 men remaining. During that time many died of starvation.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

The use of indenture servants would decrease over the coming years. Increasing slave labor especially in the southern colonies and some in the north colonies.<br><br></div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Old Lights (traditionalists) divided against New Lights (Revivalists) and denounced book learning &amp; secular thought. The movement would change education, politics, and challenge ideas about absolute monarchies. It featured the ideas of Francis Bacon &amp; John Locke. It inspired important figures such as Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, &amp; Paine.&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>1754-1763:The French and Indian war</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>George Washington was in charge of protecting a fort(sticks)and the colonist around the Ohio River Valley. 100 men and George Washington would meet up with french commanders. To discuss who sides belong to who. The native translator would get an ax and slash the french commander's face. George W would then proceed to attack the french. The French would them bring a troop of 600 men and surround fort necessity.. George would then surround and retreat to Virginia. In the first couple of battles, the french would win Later on Thomas Pitt would enforce laws on the colonist to provide housing and food to the English soldiers. Which ticked many colonists. Over time more laws were enforced applying that the English soldiers were in control. Taking livestock and supplies to feed the English army.</div>]]></description>
